Vinous Antonio Galloni - 01 Mar 14
The 2011 Charmes-Chambertin (from Mazoyeres) is complete, beautiful and striking in its purity. A large-scaled yet transparent wine, the 2011 is vivid and constantly changing in the glass. Veins of underlying tannins support an expressive finish laced with blue and black fruits, cloves, new leather and rosemary. This statuesque beauty is just as stunning from bottle as it was from barrel.
